I thought yesterday that BFG had a surprisingly improved first touch to his previous appearances. He definitely has come along leaps and bounds with that touch especially in the last two games at home and if he keeps up this rate of improvement, he could do really well for us.

And to be fair to the guy he gets some impossible stuff to deal with. If in doubt, stick it up to BFG any way you can.

Given we were playing the team in 5th place, this was a very encouraging performance. I get the impression that he knows his best home team and plays it, but is experimenting away from home, to see who can perform. That was a strange side against MK Dons

5th in the league and in quite good form with 3 wins their last 4 before us. The MK side seemed really experimental but the issue for me was that it was the wrong sort of experimentation. At least now he hopefully is aware of the fact that Henry and Tozser should not be on the same pitch. He also to be fair to him got extremely unlucky with the injury to Hall, which imo, despite the poor performance in the second half was what cost us the result.

Let's not forget a number of these players come from the lower leagues, and are still learning their trade. I think this is why there is a problem with consistency.

well said Mel, easy to forget a few of them have only had a dozen or so games at this level.

There have been some passes to him that were more like shots!

His link up play with Chery is getting good too.

Signs that Jimmy is learning e.g. Not to play Toszer with Henry; dropping Konch; retaining faith in Clint; only starting players who are in form etc.

Hoilett had just become a father for the MK Dons game which is why he didn't even travel.

I didn't know that so congratulations Hoilett.

Just watched the match on player, see what happens when we're not static. What a game and my hat off for you Clint well done, it was actually good to see you back.
