What's the point of having a large following if they dont make a noise?

What I mean is that, as a fairly sizable contingent of our support who've moved out of the Bush live in north London or further, places that are easily reachable from Milton Keynes, we had a quite varied support.
The club even retweeted someone saying theyre going to their first ever away game. Hardly the souls I expect to be singing Is This A Library & Your Support Is Fking Sht.

Heap on top that the football was woeful, and you've got an idea of what was going on.
where i was sitting it seemed to be all familys, lots of under 10's

Only they won't see it Art, a lot of the faces at MK were on a once a season jolly. The atmosphere hundreds of us create on our usual away trips would out do Saturday's damp squib by a million miles

Surely the idea of a jolly is having a party? Not sitting there silently

Huddersfield and Hull away this season were just an embarrassment, some of the worst away support in terms of noise in the last 25 years.

Didn't do Hull this season but can vouch for Huddersfield. Their lot to our right were in decent voice all game and when we got our late winner we started singing at them "you're not singing anymore" which I thought was a little bit muggy, personally, given how bad we were all game.

Am i missing something here when people are saying "this sh!t JFH has been serving up".....? From what i see, we are decent one week, then poor the next. Whenever we are decent the atmosphere tends to be quite good and whenever we are poor the atmosphere follows suit.

                    Aint rocket science.

The same people who are saying "i dont expect us to win every week" are then moaning that the sh!t football is the reason for the poor atmosphere. Unfortunately, we are going to play poor a reasonable amount of times throughout the season, or we would finish right at the top season after season.

I dont think Rangers fans are anything special in creating a decent atmosphere in all honesty. Think we are like most other clubs in that it is decent when we play well and poor when we dont. As much as people take the pi$$ out of Palace, they create a decent atmosphere every game.
