Yun praised by Charlton boss Riga

    By Andrew Raeburn 05/03/2016

    yun460
Charlton boss Jose Riga praised QPR loanee Yun Suk-young for his reliability and versatility after the victory at Brentford.

Yun played on the left wing in the win at Griffin Park, having been a left wing-back on his debut in the defeat by Reading last weekend.

The Korean put in a solid performance against the threat of Brentford’s Liverpool loanee Sergi Canos.

Riga said: “Yun is a very disciplined player. It means that when you have a gameplan, you’re sure that he will do what he has to do. We need this kind of player.

“He can play left full-back, he can play higher up the pitch, he can play with five or three behind, so it’s important to have this kind of player.

“And although he wasn’t playing at his previous club QPR, he was staying fit because they are professional.”

And we play Konchesky. Hall looked serious so we'll be playing Konchesky for a while.

According to someone on twitter, hall left on crutches.

Remember Jack Robinson is back fairly soon. Robinson Angella Ned Perch. Doesn't look too bad to me

Never ever understood Konchesky favoured over Yun.

Awful tactical decision that is. Where is the logic? Konchesky is shot to pieces.

            No one gets it?

How many fans say that Yun is a bad player?

Wrong sort. Turned up late for training, not a big fan of his mum. Yun has shown to far better than konchesky but told to leave. This is why I'm so annoyed at JFH fans. Yun vs konchesky or diakite vs Toszer no brainier

jose riga's opinion doesn't account for much in my book. but yeah, absolutely mindboggling how the operation at loftus road think pie & mash is a better player than YSY

It's rare that you find a subject that all QPR fans agree on but this definitely one. I do not know a single R that doesn't rate Yun. I also don't know a single R that would pick Konchesky over Yun.

The interesting thing is the same can't be said for managers. Harry did his best not to pick Yun, Ramsey felt the need to sign Konchesky so I'm guessing he didn't trust him either. Warnock gave him a bit of a run, 1 game in midfield too I think and now Hasselbaink has sent him out on loan. Makes me wonder if there is something about this bloke that we don't know? Lazy in training perhaps, not a team player?

Who knows, but I'd have money on his contract not being renewed.

                            This could be the reason.

Hasn't played under JFH Warnock and Ramsey this season. Reckon there's more to this than meets the eye.
