It's not the result, it's the performance. MK Dons is the worst team I have seen this year, twice, yet we couldn't create a thing against them. No idea at all. Bang it up to Washington as though he was BFG, that's all. Chery? I have wanted him to be given a run. After today I wouldn't play him again, he obviously doesn't want it.

We bought a proper right back who does exactly what Simpson did in the form of Perch and people complained that he wasn't attacking enough, but old Danny 'no cross' was? Then you say JFH doesn't know football, despite being involved in English and in particular top level and London football for years, while Neil Warnock, nearing 70 years bless him was a better option because he played boring football and got results against poor teams. Congrats, it happens, he played 7 defenders in those games, we've at least started experimenting now.

I'm just as annoyed as anyone about today, but this post is hilariously off the mark. Go on, bring up Gobern and Tozser and ignore Luongo when you wanna complain. After all its fairly easy to pick and choose what you want to talk about when you want to complain about anything.
Agree with your post in general Nas, too many people going nuts over a crap nothing performance, when we were always gonna be inconsistent this season end.

You do really need to lay off the Warnock bashing tho bud, boring football against crap opposition? Were u not around in 2011? A better more attacking Qpr side u will never see in your lifetime unfortunately :/

just shows the lack of tactical ability from the manager/dof/ whoever is giving the farking orders. just hoof it up to the big cant and hope for the best. classic jack chalton republic of ireland. utter dross but gets the odd result.

thankfully, this type of "football" has gone from the top tier and mostly 2nd tier of english football. thats unless you have a bunch of halfwits running the show and a mindless chairman who is backing them.

the only thing they are building for the future is a big pile of shyte.

4 months in charge and not a farking glimmer.

Hang on bakes, a crap nothing performance is ok then? How is that building for the future...if you believe that stuff? You play to win whether it's up the park on a Sunday or the Champions League at the Nou Camp. Today wasn't a poor performance it was abysmal and showed nothing for the future. So we've bought Washington so we can smash high balls to him? And if anyone thinks he's a 'one up on his own' player they are deluded big time.

I'm only talking about this season. I agree with his time in 2011 being one of those magical seasons and I love Warnock, I got to have a chat with him at Harlington towards the end of that season and he was fantastic; energetic, passionate, knowledgeable. A real lover of football. With that being said, I feel like he wasn't adventurous this time around (understandably) and I don't think he would have been until next season, but at the same time, we can potentially say the same about JFH, who's just getting through this season trying to teach the basics to the players before hopefully kicking on next season.

The question is how short term do people want to be? Go with the 67 year old with history as an attacking manager (just like we had two seasons ago) or go with a young manager with decent experience and with a strong knowledge of the game? I know who I'd go for.

FYI, not saying Warnock is as bad as HR, just saying people were validating sacking HR for those reasons, yet want to rehire Neil Warnock despite them.

I'm not defending the prrfomance mate, far from it. I have no idea why toszer henry and konch are playing when there's nothing to achieve tho season and I doubt they will be around next. But with the squad at our disposal currently, does anyone ecxoect a string if results and performances? Unfortunately not me :(

Yeh I get you mate, just think its harsh digging out Neil for boring performances when he only had 4 games and still managed to turn the side around. Get ur point about his age and that's fair, cant lump him in with redknapp tho, who basically stole a living from us.

No mate, not a string but MKD is one of the poorest teams around this division for a long time and we were actually worse than them today. No tactics, no desire, no spirit.

Building for the future. Rome wasn't built in a day. One step at a time. From an acorn to an oak tree. Lots of potential. When life gives you lemons make lemonade..............another effing atrocious performance from a bang average side.

I learned that we are still inconsistent (nothing new here). However the players who were under performing for us go elsewhere and suddenly look good (Yun, Fer, Doughty even Gladwin at Swindon). Some players will not be given a chance Diakite and Blackwood, yet players whom we have loaned who haven't played well for us, seem guaranteed to be given lots of chances.
I don't agree with people criticising Warnock, he did an excellent job for us (and is giving Rotherham a great chance), you can be in favour of Jimmy because he is younger, but not because Neil was poor for us, he wasn't

Surely changing a winning side is exactly what Jimmy should be doing this season. We can't go up or down, so trying players out and trying different combinations is exactly what the manager should be doing. I'd be a lot more annoyed if he kept the same side all of this season and then started experimenting next. He should be clear who can do what by the end of the season, who he wants to keep, who he wants rid of, what new players he needs and what combinations work in this team. It's all about next season now.

perfect, and i would much rather having him doing this now than wasting the whole preseason and half of next season "building his team" and then at this point in time next year having the guys here saying "we were always looking for midtable this season, it is about rebuilding the squad" (which will unfortunatelly probably happen anyway), but if we are building for the future NOW, what are Angella, Konch, Tozser and Henry doing on the team? are they really staying for next season?
