Actually we do know that. He's said so in interviews, and has been borne out in his formations, and the fact long balls get played up to him. But JFH has also conceded he's not yet the finished article and there's work to be done.

True, an inability to hold up means that the set up is very restricted. Ironically though that could be a blessing in disguise, the fact of him needing it served up on a plate means we have to play the ball up there rather than route 1.

You can say that again. I don't think he has that much pace, I don't think he gets off the ground the way an old skool 9 should, but these things can be worked on. Much harder to work on touch, that's a co-ordination thing and people either tend to have it or not.

Actually the quote i replied to was - "he doesnt get off the ground during the game"

        which he does

So we have a player who has no skills, can't jump, no first touch, not a good passer but can run - sounds just like Mr. Mackie

Can run, can jump, can have a good first touch, can finish, can aim a header well, can play a beauty of a first time pass. He can do a hell of a lot more than Mr. Mackie, what he lacks however is consistency and at times game sense.

Agreed with this, he needs more balls into the box rather than the half way line but he also needs to get more consistent with his first touch which can at times be excellent but also atrocious other times.

i saw him before most because i watched him at home in that italian riendly, and that day his physical presence was amazing but he lokks like no matter how he tried he will never be a prolific goalscorer because hes just not skilfull enough hes maybe a eight goals a season sort of player unless he drops a division, then he could get 14 goals a season i dont see him as a prem striker

But he has scored 4 goals in 10 starts in the league - same would give him 18 in a season
