      Anyone else see this? http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spor...blood-10969178
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

Not bothered commenting on the weekend till now as I've been struggling with the 'fear' for two days but the bloke who go a jab was definitely rangers but was in a right old state so if I was the brummie I wouldn't be signing up for MMA just yet. All the same its a tad embarrasing giving it the big spuds then getting sat down so easily. Still not sure why Birmingham fans automatically think this makes them all nutters as I saw plenty who would get found out very quickly.

Basically brummies came for a bully up, which is what they did. They must be well proud of lobbing stuff at
wheelchair users and going round punching fans who are not into the hooligan scene.

Won't be forgotten bush, some innocent Brummie will get it next time we meet. Same as our innocent did last Saturday . Shame the ones that fancy themselves on both sides can't have a meet . Would be comedy gold with arms outstretched doing a Danny dyer . Birmingham used to have a firm but not these days, like balamory with the kit and clobber they wear .

I ask as here is a quote from their latest article

He added a fan of the north London club was later assaulted outside the stadium and left needing treatment for a broken nose.
