It's moronic that you've only highlighted that part of Hubble's post, which was spot on by the way.

I was trying to say that it’s not as bad as it’s made out to be. If you’re a QPR fan sometimes it feels like apocalypse has arrived, and I was saying it’s not the end of the world. We’re committed and we have a good team in place – though there’s no guarantee that will fix everything. That’s what I was trying to say, rather than defend my record, which cannot be defended."

You get a rather different picture.
No point in bothering Hubble. 2 great posts, but the agenda lot will only pick and choose the bits they want to respond to to further that agenda.

You can read that two ways hud, you can also read it any way which suits your angle truth be known, the fact he states " because there’s not a lot to defend truth be told " says all you need to know about the man.

He repeats the same thing time after time and he is hoping if he says it enough times people will take it as gospel, its the oldest trick in the book and a form of brainwashing which to be fair has worked on quite a few naïve QPR fans.

I was not referring to everybody on here when I said that, nor those who disagree with me, I'm talking about the abuse, and the nonsense people come out with likes of " we are lucky to have TF as chairman"

That's given me the best laugh all day!

Just checking, do you understand that to get 200m in debt that has to be 200m more than you received/have? So if we are in debt how can that be our money?

We are no closer to having a new training ground or stadium and are way worse off after he has wasted all that money, our money not his and yet people still defend him.
                Talk about being clueless.
So I guess what you mean is that you wish TF along with Ruben and the Mittals didn’t spend that 200m on top of the prem money and gate receipts etc, now matter how well or badly the manager invested it? Ort is your problem that the managers like Arry and Hughes wasted it rather than TF made it available?

But if that is the case how can you also be annoyed that we don’t also have a new training ground or stadium?

Does that mean that you wish as well as spending 200m less on player fees and wages (so we didn’t overspend) you also wish we knocked another 10, 20, 50, 100m off the money that we did spend on players and fees to instead invest in a training ground and stadium?

Would have to be a pretty amazing manager to have managed that while keeping us in the prem for a year (With a one man team, which that player then didn’t consistently do it in the prem) and then to get us promoted after then getting relegated.

You can indeed read it in more than one way. Such as the lack of "great successes" means that there isn't a whole heap of good stuff to defend. Just as most of us accept, but don't descend into childish insults. But as Hubble pointed out, taking it in the context of the whole paragraph would have made it a lot easier to understand. Perhaps as a user of twitter, you are unable to concentrate for too many words.

All fans sites have their critics on other ones, for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, it's usually because of the behaviour of the more idiotic. As Stanley said, if you don't like it, stick to the wonderful world of twitter where you can engage with those desperate for attention.

In case you weren't aware, this site donates to QPR related charities every single month, has offered free tickets for most home matches this season via Smarkets who have been wonderful with us and has recently bought two season tickets in order to offer as competition prizes to it's members next season. What a terrible bunch we are.

Comments about Hughes in particular were interesting. The way it's been spun and not just by Hughes was that the owners went around buying players like kids in a sweet shop and Hughes had to fit them into his team. Tony is arguing the exact opposite. Hughes' reign is what killed us, pretty much everything following that was an attempt to dig us out of the massive hole he dug for us.

Totally believe that as well. He (well Kia did) started that mercenary ball rolling and it escalated totally out of hand.

The thing to remember about the interview is it was one of our own that asked the questions, not some PR bod.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
