I wonder if loads are doing it at 11:59:59 on 31 march, like I am. or probably will: I'm seriously thinking about getting tickets on the day or spares on Twickets. the only reason I would sign up for another season would be if the squad gets a sizeable injection of improvement in the summer. we are seriously lacking in so many positions, if we don't make some significant improvements, we will all find ourselves in Nov/Dec saying stuff like "this season is a write off now. wont go up wont go down, wait until season n

which is something none of us want
That's exactly the way I see it Arty but I can tell you this we wont be going up next season I doubt we'll be going down either , therefore for me to get a S/T the quality of play will have to improve dramatically and we will have to recruit some descent signings over the summer to rekindle my interest over the next 5 months

In his latest interview TF said the club had been getting 'feedback' from supporters (ie ####ter abuse), would be consulting with fans groups soon, and inferred that the end of March deadline might get extended

a push for relegation, and some calmer fans would be all I ask for.
if we were in sheff weds, burnley, or Cardiff of recent's position, it would be nice.

for clubs like us, ambition is the fuel that drives our aspirations onward and upward. without ambitious hope, we are nothing

Very true but dont fall into the trap of trivulising the size of the job JFH has , as Iv'e said many times 1st he has to make a GOOD championship squad

If however s/t holders took a similar view and only renewed if the club made sizeable investment in summer then between 1996 to 2011 we would of been lucky to muster 3 s/t holders.
We were going nowhere for a generation but the fans renewed and for many this was a golden period of following the club due to the black humour of how non ambitious we were.
If your main conditions at qpr for renewal are success and investment then your not going to be one of those fans at half time that have birthday announcements saying happy birthday Alfie 39 years a St ticket holder in SA rd more happy B-Day St holder 1993 and 2012

Same here, so use to budgeting for it in summer and now suddenly end of March. All it is is a slight hike and having to pay earlier not very exciting.
Some fans who took the 10 month plan for 2015/16 may be overlapping if taking out early bird 2016/17.
Club should have been smarter gone with current early bird but more imaginative with payment options instead of repeating last years. They could of gone
                  1) renewers pay deposit of say £50 by end of March and then pay plans similar to last year kicks in over summer /or
                  2) interest free period is extended to 6 months commencing from end of March
Could see the attraction with current scheme if they dropped the price or at least froze them.

Think ticket prices are too high full stop really.
The early bird catches the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese....

The club, due to either laziness or stupidity are really missing a trick here. No need at all for them to be using companies such as Zebra Finance for fans to fund ST's and pocket the interest.

My stepson gets his at Brighton directly through the club, who simply divide the total cost by the number of payments.

No reason at all why we cannot simply divide the cost by 12 and allow everybody to pay monthly. They could still ensure everybody commits to buying one by the existing early bird deadline, just by making 1st April the first instalment. This would also ensure that fans who are a little tighter for cash will always be able to budget in future. I personally find it hard to understand that such simplicity is beyond those responsible for these things.

wouldnt be suprised by the figures mentioned on here as to the amount currently sold.

that being said as others have said im guessing 90% of people will renew at the last possible chance, so come 1st April you will have a far better idea on numbers.

let me be clear: by no means am I doing a SteveQPR ImGladIDidntRenew type fella. If I don't renew my ST, I would still most likely go to 90%+ home and away.
I just cant stand the wannabe-hooligans in Q block singing 80 mins of WERE FRKN SH111111111TTTT as soon as we've misplaced a few passes. Obviously, I'm also referencing the general pessimism and negativity that I could use a rest from every few weeks.
I'd be able to go hiking with my mates or on a weekend city break with my non-football mates more often if I hadn't spent £500 on a ST.
it just keeps my options open is all.

after a years break I'm coming back home. The Old Codgers rate has swayed me
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Arty ..totally understand, slightly lazy post from me on me way home yesterday. In actual fact a respite for a year seems perfectly sensible, might join you
