  • QPR Interest In Celtics James Forrest.

Battling with Norwich to sign Celtics 24 year old winger.

Norwich and QPR are poised to offer James Forrest a summer escape route from Celtic. The 24-year-old winger looks certain to cut his ties with his boyhood heroes after rejecting a new deal.

Could be the new Andrew Impey

He didn't have a neck either!!

Surely that first picture is a dodgy photoshop of his head on another player.

Celtic fans says he is one of a few players who could be useful to have in a CL-qualifier? He is a pacey and direct winger. A bit injury-prone..

wouldnt break the bank for him. seen far too many players make the move from scotland to england and fail miserably.

SPL is champ/league one standard so its a good shout we'd have a chance of signing him

Definitely agree with this: Celtic and Aberdeen are championship with the rest showing league one capabilities at best. Despite this, young players from Celtic are more likely to succeed here because of the European experience they get.

Is another right-winger a priority position for us right now?

This seems like a summer deal and on the assumption that at least one of Phillips or Hoilett will be gone, another winger would become a priority.

Him on the right and El Coyote on the left sounds good. Jimmy gradually assembling his own team...

Standard of Scottish league shocking these days but doesn't mean decent players can't be found. We will need at least one new winger come next season.

A prem club will take a punt on him. Rate him as one of Celtic's better players, great pace and balance. Cant see why he would reject a contract at celtic (his boyhood club, european football etc) to come and play championship football.

Better standard of football with the potential to improve, more money etc

Celtic barely feature in Europe nowadays, so that reason for staying isn't as attractive as it once was.

Cant see him getting much more money here than at Celtic especially with our new outlook on spending. We are the "go to" club for the media to link us to players if they are looking for a move. Think he will end up in the prem as it wont be an expensive deal and so worth the punt

Might take him a while to adjust to the English leagues.....only have to look at Hooper to see that
