FIGHTING FANS GET FOOTIE BAN
MILTON KEYNES
Four MK Dons fans have been banned from attending games for nine months after fighting broke out in QPR's away end. Lee Jones, 45, Kyle Nembhard, 28, Matthew Redmond and Stephen Rogers, both 27, were among seven men held by stewards in the Y2 section at Loftus Road on 24 October. The Dons were languishing only a point above the relegation zone when they lost 3-0 to QPR prompting scenes of violence among the away side's supporters in the School End. Police attended the ground after receiving a radio call from the stadium's control room. The defendants were held while reviews of the CCTV footage showed arguments between the Y2 and Y3 sections as well as punches being thrown. The smartly dressed four, all from Milton Keynes, admitted provoking unlawful violence while Jones also admitted common assault after punching fan James Collett.

The QPR players were totally disinterested from start to finish. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
