The fans may be the same (We all want the best players and we want success as immediate as possible) HOWEVER I would say that Notts Countys board in a short space of time seem a tad more speculative than our board

Yes pete i think you are correct, we are simular.

Last night on tv the notts county fans boo'd there players off for drawing 2-2, albeit they were 2 up, so as a die hard i too would be frustrated...

I must stress its was a small section of muppets that boo'd at rangers last season but the notts county fans imo are going through the same motions as we have.

IMO a large number of fans and players to add to that!! Thought because we had rich and fasionable owners we could walk over teams with minimum effort, to some of our fans horror, they found out the hard way last season that this is not so.

We have a better sense of determination now, with our current crop of decent performances imo along with a few more decent results that tense cloud of self indulgence/over confidence we have had hanging over our heads over the past season will clear....Infact i think as a fanbase we have hugely carmed down and put things back into percpective.

That perspective is we have a decent team and with a little luck and maybe one or two additions in january we might be in the top 6 at the end of the season, should we achieve that goal easier than we expect then happy days..

Ambition is a beautiful quality to have, but be careful with it or it will consume you and eventually be your downfall.

After the first 3 homes games this season, fans booed the players as if we should just turn up and win. Very much like Notts County fans no different. Fickel fans are widespread but both us and Notts County expect more

lucky Magilton had good games against Chelsea, barnsley and Newcastle, otherwise fans with the booing would have put unwanted pressure on him and the board

Having been to Notts county many times over the years and spent time in their social club I would say that nots county fans have been amongst the friendliest and most unassuming of supporters.

If some are now booing a 2-2 draw then it is most likely the result of thier expectations being raised because of the"mega rich owners and the arrival of Sven" and what they have been told about the plans for world dominations.

Most of thier supporters will take it all with a pinch of salt but the more gullible will be sucked in and now vent their dissapointment. Doubt the whole fanbase were boing just like its not the whole fanbase that boos at LR just a vocal minority

I can only take for myself and I can only control whether I go or not and my actions when I do go. I've not sacked any managers, I've not booed at any players, I've not been responsible for price increases, moving of fans, playing signings (both good and bad) or anything else for that matter.
