Unlike many people he probably had a fairly realistic set of expectations. Finishing mid table under Ramsey in this division over the course of a season seems to me to be a realistic viewpoint.

Yes I did. We were never going down ffs, even under Ramsey.

We were mid table when he got sacked so personally I was never worried about going down. No one will ever know for sure but if he was still in charge I imagine we would be roughly where we are now maybe a few points /places worse off but nothing to worry about.

12 points clear with 10 teams between us and relegation places means no chane we will go down now. If by some chance Rotherham make those points up then Mk dons, Fulham, Bristol City etc have to as well and I can't see them all suddenly getting into to form and having to beat the top teams along the way.

What a load of ########,there were loads on here worrying about us being dragged into a relagation battle a few months ago,this board is so inconsistent, we win a game,all is wonderful,we fail to win the next 3 or 4 and we are heading towards relagation EXCEPT the same posters change their opinions from week to week. As I said I think we ar 95% safe but stand by my "may he 50 points won't be enough this season"

More tripe. I haven't once been panicking about relegation this season, nor have I said we could well reach the playoffs (don't want us to anyway). Said at the start of the season I'll take mid table and that hasn't changed all season. Sure I've ridiculed the ridiculous ones who truly thought we were in any danger of getting relegated, because quite frankly, we haven't been.
