TBF to him, he was the manager who started the repositioning of players like Bale and Dembele if I'm not mistaken.

He was Nasser, which makes it even more of a mystery why he made such a balls of it at Rangers. I was really excited to get him and have never been more annoyed than when he waved to Spurs fans who were taking the peas by saying he was Spurs and knew he was. Not to mention sitting on his Rs through that awful performance at West Ham. The look of shock on his face when Bobby scored was a picture. He already had summer in Sandbanks planned out, then had a team to think about. Bad knee my Rs.

We were dire under 'Arry. All he was interested in was waffling to the media.

Didn't want him in the first place as always thought vastly overrated. Had hoped despite my own misgivings he would do ok but hated having him as manager. Relegated twice, promoted almost in spite of him and just talked complete **** every time he opened his mouth.

              Sums up my feelings perfectly.

Would have probably come out of it all not too badly if he walked away after Wembley.

Dembele was an AVB signing and Its not rocket science moving a player (Bale) from LB to LW and vice versa, his natural abilities would suggest that move. He played quite a few players out of position while at us (vargas, fer, hoilett etc) and my point was also a dig at the summer he spent recruiting for 3-5-2 and then scrapped it after 2.5 games.

                  you

you are 100 per cent against arry boy anf im 100 per cent for him
yes i know his football was so boring to watch and yes i know he was far too defensive
but when loic remy was bought by chelsea on the last day of the transfer window that put a nail in our coffin if we had kept loic remy and charlie i think,we would have finished 5th from bottom on our first season, then we could have built on that in the next by giving both charlie and loic massive wage increases
it was les ferdinand that put the final nail in our coffin by stopping harry boy from getting defoe, saying defoe wanted to much money
A TEAM CANT BE RUN ON HATE IF YOU MUST HATE ANYBODY THEN HATE LES HES RESPONSABLE FOR LOSING WARNOCK,THEN TELLING A PACK OF LIES THAT WARNOCK DOSNT WANT MANAGEMENT REMEMBER WE WERE ONLY TWO POINTS AWAY FROM A PLAY OFF PLACE UNDER WARNOCK

Ahh My bad, got the wrong era on Dembele, but HR was fairly successful at position changing prior to joining us which is why some of his decisions were odd when he was here

Agree with Ted. Redknapp got us promoted with a worse squad we had in the beginning of this season!!
With Remy or Defoe we would have survived.

That's true, but we had a decent home record.

IMO we would have had reasonable chance to stay up if Redknapp had stayed , madness forcing him out his contract was over at the end of the season anyhow , the DOF talked Fernandes into this plan to buy young lower league players while we were still in the prem even though we could'nt sign anybody untill the window reopend in june a mistery to me still will all come out one day

Oh, well that makes the worst away record in Premiership history actually ok then. My bad.

Wow. People are actually trying to defend Redknapp with 'yeah but' and 'what if' scenarios. Incredible. The man who decided we'd play 3-5-2 on a whim, sold off Danny Simpson because of this, then changed his mind 3 games in when he realized he didn't actually have the players and we were getting decimated. The man was a pariah. Profligate. Way past his best, simply creaming it on the back of hapless Tony's largesse, along with his mates. He was like Kryptonite to this club. He is in many ways responsible for the mess we're still trying to recover from.

Couldn't agree more. I didn't even think the 3-5-2 lasted that long! Gormless beyond belief.

But it was very hard and differcult. Every farking week!
