  • "The new qpr"

With the weekend now gone, qpr first team were smashed 1-3 at home to the cants. the u21s were beaten 5-4 by bristol city, u18 also lost and the qpr ladies got ablitorated 7-1 to fark knows who.

is this the new qpr tony speaks of?

who is overseeing all this shyte? les, ramshyte, the board, who the fark is responsible.

i think its only fair we name start asking questions. jimmy floyd is not the problem here.

Not buying into this "The darkest hour is just before the dawn" discourse.
Didn't Goebbels utter this just before everything went SNAFU?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Think I'd rather be us then someone like Villa/Leeds right about now.
There's bigger clubs than us that have gone through worse than little old 18k capacity QPR... Watch Villa drop to League 1. IMO we should be thinking ourselves lucky we haven't done the same this season and in previous recent seasons.

We do seem to be a little bit spoilt on here, it has to be said and I don't know why? Was it the hysteria of the Mittals and Fernandes taking over with all their riches and us suddenly deciding we should be a Europa league team deep down because of this?? We get a 16k home gate and have huge FFP sanctions hanging above our head.. I'll take mid-table and under 18's/21s losing every week, with a young promising manager in charge, with young players right about now.

Its still a cracking day out with your pals watching QPR regardless of the final score or who is on the Board

Interesting argument. Villa can indeed end up much worse than we are now. But for Leeds the worst is now over, while we can still go further down, like they did.

Not sure the worst is over at Leeds?? Did they not project a 'time to go Massimo' out projection onto the side of their stand the other night??!

Whether you 'buy into it' or not, it is a fact of life, a fact that I have experienced many times. It's also the case that in the dismantling and rebuilding of something, things will often look like a real mess during that process. Hits, I don't know how you can maintain such a high level of angst about all things QPR - surely it can't be good for your health?

My take on what's happening is precisely as I say: dismantling and rebuilding. It's a process. If you expect instant results, you will be disappointed. I humbly suggest you take a wider view, and just wait and see how the transformation progresses. To examine everything at a microscopic level is not beneficial in these circumstances, nor is it likely to reveal the true picture.

One word for all this is: patience.

But if they accepted all of this, their WATRB boo boy reps would surely suffer?! And I don't think Kirill and Hitman would be able to live with that!

                        1) No, I never expect instant results.
But after 4.5 years I would expect something?

                        2) You are proceeding from the assumption that my view is narrower than yours.
It might actually be the opposite if you think about it.

                          A) We're not talking about 4.5 years, we're talking about what's happened this season. To include everything that's happened previously is not productive. What we're discussing here - quite patently - is what Hits has termed 'the new QPR'. I'd say you could use the appointment of Lee Hoos as the milestone, and proceed from there.

                          B) Since I was addressing Hits in the long-term view point, my 'assumption' about your viewpoint is irrelevant. The fact is, I don't actually have an assumption about your viewpoint Kirill.

The issue is mainly one of expectations and trying to be something we aren't.

Over the last few years we have had a couple of attempts at trying to be a bigger club than we are, buying players who would rather be elsewhere and bringing in managers who think they are superstars, 'Arry in particular. This has backfired spectacularly and left us in a complete mess.

Ramsey did not work although given the mess he took over perhaps some have been too harsh on him.

JFH is still a newbie really. Some big names (by our standards) sold or shipped out on loan. A few new players, still an unbalanced squad. I just don't see us being a quick fix whoever we have in charge of whatever aspect of the club.

We are in a better place than we could be. Still have wealthy owners so in theory financial stability. Massively more money being spent on youth, albeit we won't see any benefit to this for years, steps being made towards better training facilities, new ground possibilities being explored.

Like it or not we are a long term project. I just hope things start improving on the pitch even if we just become averagely half decent in this league. Is pretty depressing a lot of the time.
