  • Strange smell coming from Loftus Road.

Mid February and not a single word about ffp. Training ground, nothing. Young players being shipped out on loan when they are better than what we are playing. Find it all very strange. Might be something good or the opposite. Just a feeling, bur there's something in the air.

Don't really agree. Think one of the problems we have had in the past has been TF's enthusiasm manifesting itself with too much interaction via media and social media. It has perhaps created an expectation that we should be hearing things all the time and things like FFP and particularly training ground take time.

On younger players we like the idea of our youngsters being great but ...

We can't rush an ffp decision as it has nothing g to do with us when it's deided and no recent manager has rated yun, only leaves the off odour of the training ground.

There might be a very good reason for the current silence. Got contacted via e-mail by a previously banned poster with some surprising inside information, but gonna take it with a pinch of salt of course. Fingers crossed.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Think most people would agree Doughty better than Tozer.

dont really get the fuss with Doughty....is 23 now and still not been able to hold down a regular place. have serious doubts he will ever cut it at this level.

that being said, agreed Toszer has been dire pretty much every time he has played. Strange as he came with a big reputation from Watford.

For my money, having seen him play several times, Doughty is easily a cut above Toszer and should be playing ahead of him. Bit baffled by that tbh. I also think Cole Kpekawa should be given a chance at LB, he shows a lot of promise. I guess JFH just wants to make sure we're definitely safe before experimenting. Would hope and expect to see all of the following feature regularly next season: Robinson, Furlong, Doughty, Kpekawa and Petrasso.

if he is good enough for swindon then he is good enough for us. after all, that is the standard we are targeting in the transfer market.

The reason I heard was that the Football League knew their FFP rules were in fact absurd, and they were worried that a legal challenge could seriously embarrass them, so a far more modest fine had to be negotiated. I assume this is what's taking so long.

Reckon the early bird has something to do with the FFP.

Do you mean Season tickets? No, that's entirely separate. Was at the fans meeting with Lee Hoos when this was discussed.

What was the reaction to the 30% penalty for not taking advantage of the generous offer to renew by 31st March?
