    Fair point but I can't remember Phillips and Hoilett at RB/LB that often...certainly not as much as I can recall Tozser and Luongo opening up the middle every time Fulham went forward.

      exactly, I don't think the wingers offer enough defensive support to suggest that we can afford to have full backs who are both slow and forward thinking. I think it was more luongo leaving the middle to cover the full backs and then leaving Toszer in the middle doing sweet FA defensively. Now I'm not defending Toszer at all, because I think any of our other midfielders would have done more defensively when left alone, but having full backs who don't get back quickly and wingers who don't cover will leave us exposed.

        I didn't say Ned should be captain, clever cobblers. I said Ale doesn't play enough games to be the team captain.

          Yes, and the players who do play enough games are Ned, Phillips, Perch and Hall. The only one there who should be captain at this moment in time is Ned.
