Your right he isn't THE problem but the way some worship him is cringeworthy.

No one worships him lol. Worship is what some do with Mackie, Clint, etc. He's a solid player, generally does his job and has been rather good this season.

Sometimes I wonder if people actually watch what's going on on the pitch or just dive in the slagging off because others are doing it. Watch Nedum next game he's always talking to defence and even more so he's always in the Refs ear when he blows up if one of ours has been fouled or hes about to pull a card

As said instead of joining the bandwagon use your own eyes and watch him talking; Hill aside he's the only choice of captain in the squad!!!! Interesting shout on Smithies that's a decent shout in future can see what poster meant

THANK YOU. The amount of bandwagoners is unreal on this site. Ned is only behind Faurlin as our loudest player on the pitch.

The thread is bit dramatic. The future of our club don't depend on whether Ned is captain or not captain or sold or stays etc.

Before the Fulham game, I'd say to as far back as NW taking charge, defensively we have largely been very good, that's a fact. I do believe Fulham was the game we conceded the most goals since Ramsey was in charge. Not being funny but Ned has been very good since NW came in and Hasselbaink after him, with the exception of the Fulham game. So why he's been made scapegoat all of a sudden I dunno.
Nothing wrong with Ned and Hall that a decent pair of full backs won't put right. Hall spends half his time watching Konchesky get run and Perch, for all his recent 'improvement', is out of position too often.

I agree with this. Perch had been improving but was shown up against fulham. Think he's decent but would like some more pace out there. Konch needs ousting asap. Honestly, Konch going out of position leaves Centre mid having to cover, meaning one less body in the middle, dangerous enough running a 3 man midfield but suicide when your only other player is Tozser.

Yeah, I forgot .....no defensive cover from midfield. They actually do ok then, all things considered! Ned, Hall and Smithies is still a good starting point.

I said at the time that Ale Faulin was the only real Rangers man at the club tho not vocal but he does wear his heart on his sleeve
But Ale doesn't play enough games to be an effective captain.....does he?

Exactly. Imagine the effect it would have on the players if their captain only played every few matches instead of every minute of every game like ned does.

Really? Not for me. All the issues were in the middle of the park.

I think you're right, but that doesn't mean Perch and Konch were any good that game and the middle was exposed primarily because the middle of the park was left plugging holes in the full backs positions.
