I just want us to have a team of technically good footballers that play abit of passing attacking football. Got no time for players like Henry. People say oh he does a job he chases players down blah blah yeah that don't cut it for me. You can still be a defensive midfielder and play abit of football. Same with Mackie, he runs about like a madman with little football brain. No wonder Jimmy wanted Lansbury and Emyr Huws. I think people get confused because the players that normally run about like mad are normally #### but they get the he gives 100% treatment. Yes he may give 100% in running about like a headless chicken but give about 25% towards the actual playing side.

Agree pal 100%. First things first they got to have a good football brain and technically good so they can actually get involved and make an impact on the game

I've been fed up since our first relegation season. All I have seen is various managers and players turning up with virtually no other motive than collect their ridiculous wages. Seen very little in terms of entertainment, desire, determination, discernable progress or a sense of wanting to play for the fans.

But some of us do at least try to find positives in a m o n g s t the car crash of what seems to be a constantly recurring nightmare. What annoys some of us are those that almost ALWAYS have something to be critical of, regardless of whether there is any justification, along with those that persist in attacking the same people over and over again for the same reason.

Pretty sure we are all aware that the owners have made more than their fair share of mistakes, but as an example, Tony Fernandes was criticised the other day for tweeting that our last inexcusable performance was embarassing and nowhere near good enough. If all sense of balance and perspective gets lost, then any valid concerns, frustrations and observations start to exhibit a distinct sense of trolling. By all means posters should have a moan and whinge. But when it's the same one it tends to lose it's relevance.

PS: The word in red had to contain spaces to get around the swear filter. FFS
I agree with almost every word of this post. Those who, as you say moan and whinge, moan and whinge about the team performance, the management and the board. Invariably when we lose. And when we've been so s hit for so long..... That's what happens on a message board..... But I can't help thinking that some happy clappers (two in particular, one of whom is a mod......) moan and whinge about the moaners and whingers. And they can do so in a sometimes spiteful way. Moaners never personally target the happy clappers in the way some happy clappers target the moaners. It's that I'm tired of tbh......

I would if I wasn't accused of swarming....... But I really do see more negatives than positives, tbh. I enjoyed cheering on Leicester yesterday than anything of the Rs I've seen since Christmas, which is dispiriting. I wasn't at the Ipswich home game.

Mackie was the only one who showed any heart Saturday lymes bar smithies,it's the rest of them that need to put in his work rate and the fans might respond. Football has been #### and the paying punter needs to be lifted with hard work shown on the pitch . Mackie is no messi but he shows us fans he wants to win, shame the others don't.

This is why Jimmy needs time. I very much doubt he wants to field a team with Polter, Toszer, Mackie etc if he had a choice. Must be judged once he's had a full summer transfer window and pre season. Wonder how much Fulham would want for Tom Cairney? Best player on the pitch Saturday. Exactly the type of midfielder we need.

Try a PM exchange with a view to forging an amicable conclusion.

I didn't go Van so accept what you're saying. It just didn't look good watching on the box. My point being I agree with Fordy, there has to be a bit more to a players game than just running his heart out

Mate, I saw it completely differently to be honest. Mackie did near nothing, yea he closed down and all but it was very showy closing down rather than actually useful stuff. Only player I saw in the first half showing passion (Not necessarily quality) was the one moment where ned got his booking.

Agree lymes, running around just don't cut it but shows a bit of passion.any decent football has been drummed out of us and will take a while to bury the Ramsey way. That man I feel put us back a season or 2

So, after we lost on Saturday I jumped on a bus to Harlesden to see my mate. We went on the lash around the area, ended up in a couple of pubs/bars in Harlesden, moved onto Kensal Rise, where we met some people, then onto a house party in Queens Park. Staggered home at about 5am. On the way my mate was too drunk to go on so we stopped outside "Queens Park Tyres" . Whilst he tried to order a cab I noticed there were old QPR team photo's in the window , my mate didn't share my enthusiasm. The cab never turned up so we carried on walking until I spotted the N18. Sounds kinda of odd, but after getting thrashed by Fulham a good night out around the area really made me proud to be a QPR fan. So I guess what I really want/need as a fan is an all night bender to help me get over the shocking football.

One thing I am curious about with closing down by both Mackie and Washington is why do they kind of run at the side of the keeper, they look likely to gte the ball if they run straight at him and try to tackle yet they always go to one side.
