1, We arnt a premiership side.
2, Your original comment is stupid.
3, Most of burnleys strikers infact all of them plyed there early career trade in the lower leagues or lesser divisions in other countries.
4, Les Ferdinand, Trever sinclair, robbie blake, Kevin Phillips. Both past and present the list really is endless of players who have played lower league football before they made it...

2 of the best players we ever had were Andy Sinton signed from Brentford and Darren Pea**** who went on to win a premier league title along with Sir Les, all great players succesful in premier league and made qpr a ****load of money between them

nobody - i think - is suggesting our entire forward line should be lower league. but at the moment i don't think we have ANY lower league players. don't see the prob with them. rangers have always been a small club who did well getting rough diamonds from the lower leagues, polishing them then selling them on. dont see the problem.

my point is a league 2 striker 9 times out of 10 wont cut the mustard in the premiership

Great, in that case we are all in agreement. Like you and probably all fans I'd ideally like some ready-made star but as that doesn't seem particularly realistic I - and I suspect quite a few others who have been championing Jackson from early on - just think we cd do a lot worse.

Agree, in fact i would say the percentage may be smaller than 1/10 thats why its important to have a really good scouting system rather than just a scouting system, we have let gems through our fingers in the last 10 years who could have made us a sustainable football team rather than one having to be bailed out by the super rich.

Now we need some goalscorers to get us there and Jackson's worth a punt in my opinion.

We arnt a big premiership side, albeit we would be delighted to sign big players, but at this stage you need to take your expectation levels on who we can and cant buy down a peg or 2, or your will find yourself extremely dissapointed...

Sorry if you took exception to my earlier comments, but it was your comments on football i called stupid, not you as a person.
