Rotherham drew 0-0 yesterday, but had two men sent off. He does get commitment from his players!

A quick reminder of how we got on last time Warnock managed us vs Fulham

We revisit Craven Cottage's ultimate demolition job in this week's Flashback, as Martin Jol's men hit West London rivals QPR for six in 2010. For…

Warnock was hamstrung by Tango and Cash refusing to open the coffers to sign players. He never had a proper chance with us in the Prem and then Uncle Tony sacked him, instead of giving him the transfer window he'd earned. Pointless to harp on about that 6-0. So what?

Warnock didn't do that bad in the half season he had in the premiership. He got all our away wins that season. Stoke and Everton and wolves. We had rocky December but thought in general we were ok and he was harshly sacked.

Warnock did ok in Prem with what we had, stoke, wolves and Everton away were great victories. Fulham was the low point but it was a bit out the blue, whereas Saturday wasn't a great shock to me.

Your defending the result hubs by offering excuses for the 6 nil outcome or that's how I interrupted you message. I was asking if you thought that side he put out was a team that should have been turned over by six goals

No West, I wasn't defending the 6-0 defeat, I was putting it into context of Warnock's situation at Rangers after we got promoted. Geng's post "A quick reminder of how we got on last time Warnock managed us vs Fulham" implied (or at least that's how I interpreted it) that because we got caned by Fulham, Warnock was therefore a useless manager.

At least we all know now that NW was tipped a wink by the powers that be that he wasn't wanted. Like so much else Rs, it was obvious at the time.

At this level I would have taken him over JFH any day of the week. That was another no brainer.

Warnock is about 98 ain't he, we are trying to build a future, no more quick fixes. This jfh dislike is baffling.

Ramsey was sacked because he was deemed unlikely to get us to the play offs. Getting us to the play offs does not imply a rebuild strategy.

Re Neil's exit. I seem to remember you were one of those determined to believe the line that was being spun at the time.

I don't dislike JFH but I think we'd have had more stability from NW.

move on for fark sake, was 5 years ago. showed he wasn't up to it in the prem.

done great for us and has my thanks, but is cringeworthy the way people still bang on about him.
