I'd put money on it, and I'm not usually a betting man.
I might!!
Seriously though, it's a great appointment for Rotherham as NW knows this league like the back of his hand!!
Turned us around this season after Ramsey was shown the door.
If he does take it, those who doubted the line being spun at the time of his departure from here are going to feel vindicated..... he wasn't wanted here. For whatever reason.
Not sure, the division was some posters saying NW had ruled himself out of a permanent position at QPR and only wanted an advisory role but others argued he was just saying that and that wasn't what he meant but really was playing the game to get the permanent job and the club were clueless not to offer him it. To make matters even more exciting the latter group also stated that in any event EviLes had offered the job to his mate.
At the time all the interviews/press statements supported the account that NW didn't want a permenant job and no evidence to the contrary save for what some conspiracists heard in pubs and near the press box.
Actually the Rotherham situation confirms rather than dispels "the line spun at the time". It's clear he's been appointed purely as a firefighting role at Rotherhmam on a temporary basis until end of the season and his role at QPR was simply advisory which was what NW was reported to have said at the time was what he actually wanted. He said he didn't want to go back to being permanent manager, he was done with it.
No one knows (apart from the poster sitting near the press box) what was going on at QPR but I'm probably not be far off to say the club considered giving NW until the end of Summer and that was probably what NW wanted but the club took the punt that what we needed was stability and a complete overhaul and that's why a permanent manager was favourable. NW the gentleman he is probably accepted that and knew he couldn't fill the post and graciously handed the baton to JFH. That's why not one critiscm of how we treated NW has come out ...the reason being is as said at the time there was no conspiracy and no man on the grassy knoll.
It may be in the future the reason why NW doesn't want a permanent job changes, and due to circumstances changing he might be appointed a permanent manager of a club ,who knows in football but to say he's going to Rotherham his childhood club on a fire fighting basis for 3 or so months is stretching by any imagination that he should have got a 3 year contract at QPR.

Pretty spot on. I was told he wanted the job at least until the end of the season and possibly until the of the of 17 season.
Les wasn't keen so he didnt get it. I am just glad his appointment at Rotherham dispels all the fact he couldn't work because of his wife or he didn't want to. Trust me guys if he's taken then the Rotherham role he would of jumped at the QPR one.
Honest truth is I actually think JFH appointment has worked out for the best even though I was pro Warnock. It's taken a few weeks to adjust but I can actually see what Les and JFH are trying to do and building and I am genuinely excited. I also love the passion JFH is showing to succeed.
What throw me is the clubs change of heart for promotion ect but I think now going back to basics, playing players who want to be at qpr, 2 strikers it's much more enjoyable again.
