just got back from game, hes my man of the match. Can kick beyond the half way line, commands his area well and made some class stops in the last couple minutes to keep us in front!

Smithies was MOTM for me (closely followed by Mass). Said it to my mate right on FT. He's a non-league GK and agreed. That clearance he made near the end when he rushed out of his area, took the man on before wellying it out of the ground was absolute class, as you could see how confident and in control of the danger he was.
It was the sort of commanding performance that automatically instills confidence in the back 4, know that they can trust him. Does the simple things really well too.Comment
