  • So there he is, our rejected RB..

Sitting on the top of the prem.

Do they improve after they leave us, or do we just destroy talent while they're with us?
Examples, Routledge, legsofwood, and now Simpson.

        Add Delaney to that list.

Routledge was great when on loan with us and should have been bought for the following season, a big mistake. But he doesn't really fit the list of rejected players who improved after leaving us.

Parejo - Gone on to be captain at Valencia, and a great player.

Every man and his dog knew that was an awful decision when it was announced he was off.

Well done Harry. Super manager extraordinaire. Cant

That one has shocked me to be honest. I thought he was complete g@sh for us.

Routledge has definitely improved at Swansea. Not sure what his current sauad status is, but over the last few years has been one of their better players.

If he's available in the summer I'd happily have him back here, but suspect he'll have better options.

Used mainly at left back when he was here, if I remember correctly.

Playing in his correct position at Palace, CB.

Im happy for them, Routledge ive admired a lot since he left QPR
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Simpson was a decent prem FB for Newcastle before he came to us, was decent for us and should never have been sold imo.

Was never good enough for us.
Edit: checked old posts and he was fans favourite.

Good for us but not great. One dimensional player.

Should have kept him though. Stupid 'Arry wanted to play with wing backs which lasted all of about one game, didn't work and we then had no natural right back. Even if we had bought another RB would have been plenty good enough as back up if not first choice. Ole Bagpuss was a shocking manager. Couldn't stand him even before he plagued us with his presence. This epitomised to me just how imbecilic he was.
