Phillips has the potential to be a great winger, but for one reason or another he's had a stop start career with us and I dare say it didn't help much having Ramsey play him on the left a fair bit. I think the lad just needs a bit of continuity to flourish. Probably....maybe..

Glad we kept Phillips instead of Fer. We aren't in the same position as we were with Charlie as he still has 18 months to run. Expect him to go in the summer but pleased he has stayed for the time being.
