If he was as good as some rate him on here - Then even if he wasn't putting a shift in cause of speculation/ his mind was elsewhere etc........ All this abilty that he supposedly has still should be producing a lot more than 4 assists in 29 league games in a very poor Championship. Austin barely could be bothered but his ability meant he still banged in 10 odd goals and was up there as a top Championship player. It's not just stats which are poor. It's his performances. He has been a passenger a lot of the games and produced very little. Some put it down to this/that etc but he basically isn't that good.

I would hope that with Poulter up top, you'll find Matty P, gets far more assists. Put some great balls in against Wolves and as him and Poulter learn each others way, i hope they build up a rapport and and we see plenty of balls into the box and Poulter getting himself a hatful of goals.
