The Play off game against Oldham for me, that night will live long in the memory and the miracle save from chris Day right at the end and believe it or not, I never even had a drink after. My step-son drove me home, wouldn't do that now

best at LR was Oldham for me, plenty been said about that.

Wembley v Spurs in 82 was good, though it's hard to actually remember now and I was quite young then.... it was probably quite rubbish actually...come to think of it. :waaaht:

Best atmosphere at any game of football....by a very long way... was Holland v Scotland at Villa Park - Euro 96. Don't think I will ever see anything like that again.

For me QPR v LEEDS 1975/76 with 35000 (record for LR) fans packed into the ground, good many pi$$ed noise was farking awsome, biggest dissapointment, Jim Gregory having a dispute with the tv companies over fee's, and not letting them film the match.
I'm with you on that one, Scarlet, I was only 13 at the time, in my full bloom of youth, and wearing the tastiest pair of flairs you've ever seen, mind you, me platforms weren't much kop.

In recent times, has to be Oldham in play-off semi-final.

One for the oldies............QPR v Leicester League Cup 1966, arguably the game where it REALLY all started for us................
1966, Leicester had Banks in goal, we score, then go 1-2 at HT.
2nd half, 3 goals in 5 minutes yeeha
4-2 win, on the road to Wembley, although we didn't know it then.

Leicester were a decent side in those days, about 5th in the top Division.
                        wow, Gordon Banks
where have all the keepers gone?
I was born in 66 and England better win a world cup before I ****ing die.

I agree with all the above, a special one for me which hasn't been mentioned is when we sent Luton down a couple of years ago.

That header from Furlong, get in there...

Have to say it has to be Scarlets choice v Leeds in 76, for those not old enough imagine Oldham Play off x 10. Was in the paddock and the ground absolutely rocked, first time I ever went on the pitch at the end, unbelievable scenes. We had played Leeds the previous season too when they were crowned champions beating us 1-0, that was pretty special as well.
