Why haven't the club offered him a new contract and are looking to cash in? Probably tells us he wants to leave to play Prem football."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Far too many of them are focussed on just getting past players and then having a poor delivery. Phillips has the whole package, can beat a man, stunning delivery, height and physicality and plenty of pace to burn. If we want a worse player, sure we could cash in and get someone who is a lower to mid table championship player. But the club wants to be in the prem and we need players who can do that. Matty stands out to me as the best option and is therefore IMO not particularly replaceable at this price range from this nation.

Goes missing way too much in games, rarely beats his man and a lot of his crosses end up on a defenders head. He can hit a great cross now and again but for someone who is meant to be that good he barely has 1 good game in 6 at Championship level.
The guy basically isn't that good. Would seriously cash in if someone is offereing it up.

What's with all the Phillips bashing?? He's too good to be at QPRUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I would say Phillips level is a struggling premier side like Aston villa, not consistent enough puts gloves on when it's mild a big fairy IMO, if we can get 7-8 million that's got to be sale off the century, where's Nicholas parsons when you need himYou Rsssssss
