  • QPR setback for OOC

A “world famous cultural institution” is to relocate to Old Oak Common in a breakthrough for Boris Johnson’s plans to turn the desolate swathe of railway sidings and industrial estates into a thriving new west London district.

Get your tin hat on 'Uncle Tony' !

The new plans will be seen as a blow to Queens Park Rangers’ ambitions to build a 40,000-seat stadium at Old Oak Common, although the Championship club is still being considered for other potential sites in the area

Never was supposed to be easy, but the club can still try if they pull the finger out of their ####.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

The gravy train is about to be derailed.

Cracking bit of news. We get to stay at loftus road along with added expectation, that tony and chums will soon be selling up.

I wonder what the current asking price would be if the OOC scheme was totally kaput.

It does say we are being considered for other options 'on the site' so don't get to excited.

one piece of land at a time. this is a good start though, car giants land is what tony wanted.

fark knows what we are worth now but like his dealings in the transfer market, he wont get his money back.

Not getting excited just yet, still need to save on office lunches for a few months before I can take part in the bidding for QPR.

Training ground is more a priority, can't even fill our current stadium so not sure how many more will go to a new one.

Am I the only one who is bewildered why some so called QPR fans always treat any setbacks or bad news for our club with such glee?

I'd say far more agree with you than disagree, we just don't talk much about it.

the last thing my club needs is for its home to be flogged off and to become tenants in a half empty soulless stadium sitting ontop of a landfill.

some of you prance about on here about living within our means but then shout down anyone that does not want a 40k stadium ffs.

anyway, its never going to happen, so ya better get over it.
