Rather be bored to tears by Mr. Careful that JFH has become than get another iteration of coach Hines.

Build from the back. Were we not averging conceding three goals a game of something like that early season. Stop the goals then work on the flair

And in fairness two of the draws should/could have been wins had we seen game out

Very dull to watch at the moment but it looks like we are becoming very hard to beat which is a good thing. Could be interesting next season, Jimmy will bring in his own players and have a full pre season. Being hard to beat plus adding some quality attacking players to our team could see us do very well.

Let him be judged when the team he picks week in week is his own. The prospect of having a young manager who gets to instill his own traits on the team he actually puts together himself sounds far better than the the high bucks teams we have tried to produce in the past while. It wont come over night but picking young hungry players over under performing prima donnas wins hands down to me....onwards and upwards.

No I read it mate, and I understand what you mean, but we can't go too quickly, we need time to bed in a solid defensive system (just as Warnock did when he came in) and try to snatch something. JFH has been unlucky at times with the odd goal so I'm sure we will start scoring a lot more in the not too distant future.

Hard to watch too, sadly. Or for me today, to listen to.......

To me it screams over cautious football. It's not a lets go and win set up, it's a let's not lose set up. That's what you get playing 1 up front and it has to change.

Not only is it dangerous to keep drawing, but it's mind numbingly boring football.

In his defence only 2 defeats is admirable but sorry it's not enough for me.

                4-4-2 ffs
Completely agree . So negative and boring. 1 upfronts really shackled us. 1 win in 10 and that was against worst team in The division. He still ain't won a home game either. It won't change until we go 4-4-2.

Quite happy with the way we are now moving forward. Takes time to build a team and if we are hard to beat this season then next we will start nicking games. IT is a little dour at the moment but it's another clean sheet and we sevened to have stopped the last few minute jitters. Glad for Smithies his confidence will get better and better.

I'm not too concerned yet. Establish a good, solid base to then build around. Let Washington settle and hopefully the goals will start coming

I genuinely think he's the right man for the job and a strong enough character to finally cut the rot out of the club

Draws won't win you anything, we all know that but not getting beaten is a good mentality to instill into a team.

I'm still prepared to give him time.

Christ we've had more than our share of defeats in the last 18 months. So draws as dull as they can be are still an improvement.

Comparing a style of football to wanting a manager sacked after 6 games?

                            Try again w*****

Some good shouts on this thread in fairness. Happy for the clean sheets, happy to stop the rot. Happy to continue supporting JFH. Happy to be patient. Just not happy with what I pay to watch every week but I guess we can't have it all.
