My old man went up to Nottingham today with some Rangers fans to see Barnsey. He was looking much better than they all thought which is very encouraging. I won't go into the medical issues, but Alan was pleased to see them. Sounds as if the doctors and nurses have been first class. I believe there could be a chance that he will be moved to a hospital in London soon. But obviously the most important thing at the moment he has a good support around him from his medical team. I will obviously post further information as and when I get more details. Typically Alan wants to be at our next game! Keep strong, Barnsey!First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

The fireman, the first at the scene that assisted Alan, a life long blue nose, will be a guest at Rangers v. BrumLast edited by lymehoop; 25-02-2016, 07:27 PM.I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
