One or two bits of tinkering - Henry out of the 11 and either Fer out or Fer with more energy in - and we'd be doing a lot better. We're dropping points by such small margins (we haven't lost by more than a goal under JFH and we've scored at least one goal in all but one league game) that I feel we just need to tinker with the balance and we'll be fine.
one game it's this player that fkucs up next game it's another

Don't think he would have joined Middsboro anyway, but if offer comes in from any Prem team around £5mill I hope we take it.
Could get 2 players with that money that improve our starting eleven straight away.

when warnock was first appointed, there was a change, but it was largely that the players (who up until that point had believed that they were bigger than any manager the club had... magilton, sousa, hart etc) understood that they couldn't take the p1$$ any longer. it wasn't about promotion... all that only kicked in the following summer when colin brought in kenny, derry, hill and mackie, reinstated helguson and somehow managed to convince them to put up with fatso's constant tantrums.

I like Warnock but he came in to gee things up for a few games. Entirely different to someone taking the job full time and trying to implement real change. All I took from those games is that we were still not very good but ground out some points. Not sure if he had stayed we would be better off than we are now. No reflection on him as great character and respected manager but no point trying to compare him with JFH.
As others have said we are a mess. We have tried to rebuild several times in recent years but always overreached as opposed to thinking longer term. We are a Championship club who would like to progress to Premiership. In my view we need to build for the Championship with players who want to be here and want to improve and progress themselves. We have cleared out the majority of our 'mistakes' but do still have some who think they should be in the Premiership now due to nobody buying them in the summer.
I'd rather give JFH time and try and do it properly this time. The club are investing in youth in a way they haven't in the past. Whilst this will take time before we see the benefit if we show a bit of patience the club might this time be heading in the right direction.

Yes, massively disappointing.
Considering:
a) We were at home; the opposition; and their injury list.
b) The woeful 2nd half performance.
c) The chances we had to kill the game off, and
d) Our appalling record at being incapable of holding on to winning positions. I've lost count of the amount of times we go 1-0 up only to then sit back until the inevitable happens.
And the disappointment never gets any easier to bear either.
I trust that answers your question adequately.
