Boro have cooled their interest in Matt Philips!

      Must have been watching Saturday.

As Celtic have a Norwegian manager atm I follow them a bit, and last night I suggested they should buy Phillips for 5m. Not sure they were all that keen on the idea .

Honestly think there is something totally anti-Phillips irrespective of what he does. He played 13 crosses against Wolves, our second best was 5. He got the assist for the goal. He at least tries to get the ball into the box and do something. He even at least takes shots. Think some are a bit harsher on him than is fair.

Need to get shot of Phillips.. Don't think he is interested. In the mould of Fer, Hoilett and Sandro, expected a lot more from all of them but have been a let down. Blows too hot and cold for my liking. If we can get £7-8m that would be a good deal.

Maybe Saturday yea & you may have a point too. How many crosses does he do every other game?

Love him, but I'd of taken the £12m Leicester supposedly offered, merely for the fact he's 1 run out of contract and 2 I didn't want us going straight back up anyway.
Could you imagine if we had and then something completely ridiculous happened. Like two thirds of the way through January and Leicester were top of the league. No doubt some would have criticised the club for not holding out for £20m.

On the other hand, if it was Charlie's decision not to want to go there, I wonder if he's regretting it now.

                        Funny old game.

He's attempted 6.8 crosses per game to be fair so its not like he doesn't have an effect. Not many players can claim to doing that in this league.

He took a corner Saturday in the first half that hit the first man (again) statistically that is registered as a cross is it not?

He got plenty of advice from one of our previous corner takers.

I believe they don't but I can't be too sure.
