Looking at more talent from the lower leagues. Hope this new QPR continues, really excited by our future.

Very dangerous signing players who are inexperienced in the lower leagues. Need to be careful.
Our boards ambition is to be established in the Premier League, so at the very least our signings should be capable of getting us out of this league.
No doubt some are but it's a huge gamble to bring in half a dozen from the lower leagues. Thorough scouting is needed and buying at value.
I guess Peterborough are the model we should look at. It can be done, but we're in another world to Peterborough and players coming in will need to perform immediately at the top end of the Championship and even then how many will be good enough to become a Premier League player?
One or two of the lower leagues brightest talents is fine, any more than that and it could go wrong very quickly.

Bring in youg players from lower leagues who maybe appreciate the game more (not just the fame and money).. and are more likely to give 100% for the club. So when we're ready and finally go up, we're more prepared for the Premiership..SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

some on here say Harriman was not good enough for the Championship and is now at his level in League 2, yet if he had been a Wycombe player all along there'd be saying sign him up as he can only get better!

Southampton were in a false position so can't really class them as lower league and Joe Allen played 6 games for Swansea in League One and didn't really get a kick under Martinez, it was under Rodgers in their promotion season from the Championship he was a regular.
Of course plenty have made it but you'd hardly say Delaney was a talent would you? That's what we're trying to sign, talents. Many turn out to be a flop.

We've had our fair share of plays who've had plenty of experience at a higher level and still fall flat on their face, or just simply dont care anymore and not willing to put a shift in every Saturday... Can work both ways..SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

You need to watch players for quite a while at that level and yeah sometimes we'll miss out but that's when the club have to sell itself by giving the few we do sign, the chance to play every week. Dele Alli was playing regularly at MK for 2.5 years before Spurs signed him and then he was loaned back for a further 6 months. Everyone was watching him since his debut.
I see ourselves long term doing that rather than signing Pierre, Dack, Roofe etc who have had a good 6 months or so. Bringing in one or two like the above is acceptable but it's very dangerous putting all your eggs in one basket.

Yeah it's risk and for certain not all will come off but you aint gambling with the wages paid to the like'of Traore SWP Hoilet and co ,
but if half make it as prem players and the rest become championship standard you will still make money on the ones that fall short
