He started the other two under Warnock's reign....
Love it Lunar! But we WON the two games without him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bamford had one good season. Hope we don't bring him.

Well he got 8 goals in 14 starts the season before last for Derby so I'd say two good seasons.

Washington is training hard. Ive changed my mind and reckon jfh is going to start him, throw him right in the deep end.
So revved for Saturday, is everyone else? Nice early kick off so watch the game sober and then hopefully do the celebratory pub crawl after all afternoon.

Ok, using your logic then, we've won another 6 games this season and he's started 5 of them!

Oh OK hes brilliant, should be in the England squad is the best player in the team. I got it wrong didn't realise he's such a great player and he should be first name on the team sheet!!!!

can't wait to see he's epic contribution on Saturday! I just wonder how many more points we would have won had he NOT be playing and how many conceded goals he has been directly (or indirectly) responsible for?

never said he didn't and will, of course support him but I simply don't agree with him picking Kelvin

Kelvin will always polarize, that is the sort of player he is. Some see him as a way to allow the talent to spread their wings, others see him as a block of potential talent into the first team. The point is that until Sandro grows up or is replaced, Kelvin is the only player adept to that role of just pure simplicity in tackling, intercepting, releasing and sitting deep. Do I want him starting? Only if Sandro isn't made available (either through injury or childishness). Should we get someone younger who can just sit and win the ball back? Yes, 100%.

I never said that... I was just pointing out that successive managers continue to consistently pick him and perhaps these managers have more experience in managing a football team than some of the fans....

Just out of interest, what would be your preferred starting eleven?

They're isn't a problem with Kelvin per se, merely who he's paired with in the centre in 4231. He's wholly defensive, as we know, so has to be paired with an attacking player. Not another static player, however creative or ball holding like Faurlin. He can't play with Sandro or Faurlin. Kelvin and Faurlin is a very ugly partnership; it, plus the absence of Charlie, explains why we've been so sub is going forward. Tory Kelvin can play with Luongo (Charlton and Rotherham), but think, so long as Sandro's here and fit (as if....) Luongo and Sandro have to be the CM pairing, in 4231 or, as I'd prefer, 442.
