It was, he was out of contract, we're going no where & we signed an exciting talent in Wasington with that money & have got money left over
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Really happy with this signing. Definitely the right sort of player we should be investing in and looks a very tidy finisher.

Looks interesting, smaller player could work well...

I personally don't get the love in with chery. Fer is much better than him playing behind the striker. Chery should be wide left if he plays but that is dependent on hoiletts form.

Oh right. Do wish now that we'd gotten him in before Forest FA Cup haha. Would have enjoyed seeing that side play the game.

What's this team for? seriously light weight midfield. Furs, Galdwin on loan, Robinson just back from long term injury. Blackwood? Grego-Cox? play the youth who get beaten most weeks?

Anyone else slightly concerned that this Washington has a terrible scoring record other than the last 14 games?

Awful record and dropped by numerous managers.

Let's hope he is forfilling potential

What is this team for you ask? These are the new era players at our club - new young players like many in here have asked for: Hall, Luongo, Chery, Gladwin, Washington, Polter, Blackwood

Gone are the days with the Ferdinands, Fabio, Park, Cisse, SWP, Bozwinga, Dyer, Cesar, Granero, Mbia, Ben Haim, Bothroyd, Remy, Samba, Jenas, Townsend - all played here 2012/13 season

Looks like he's got of a bit of Charlie about him.

The player obviously...... not the Colombian marching powder.

Sure but that team would be destroyed as it has no backbone and most of our youth players have shown nothing bar maybe Petrasso & Kpekawa. I'm all for youth players coming through but they need to be good enough. Team needs piano shifters as well as players as Ollie once said.
