People on here say every single time that we lose or draw thaat we are going on a run of losses and are going to be relegated, why can't we say after a win (especially a really impressive away win) that we are going on a run of wins?

We aren't that far off them to be fair. It's unlikely though. The league is so so tight I don't think anything can be ruled out. But expectations should be mid table, playoffs a big bonus imo.

I just checked and it's correct although they still have a market and make ourselves 11/10 favourites. Normally they pull the whole market if something is happening. Not sure what's going on but for him to be 10/1 with BetVictor still, I'd guess nothing concrete is happening.

And me mate, although I do feel if a Prem club or team going for promotion want him, we may miss out.

I'm pretty sure he won't go to a premiership club, the player himself wants to play every week, and he won't go anywhere that playing isn't near on garunteed, so that means he has to go to a really shite team where he will be the first name on the team sheet every single week. I think we are certainties to get him if that's the criteria.

We are still favourites to sign him with a couple of bookies. If it was a done deal behind the scenes then all bookies would be suspended. Dont take any notice if 1 bookie suspends bets, its when they all do it

Reason we won't?...... We don't have a striker capable of scoring the goals. Polter tries hard but his not a Rhodes, McCormack etc.
Nor do we have the strength at the back.

That said.. If this month we go out and sign a proper centre half and proper striker (highly unlikely), anything is possible.

I however think it is far too late now, as the top 6 are v. strong - We also have to heavily rely on them dropping a lot of points.

Bl00dy hell, Bamford & Hernandes up top for them with Diame supporting - hell of a lot of fire power.

They have avery strong squad and a proven manager. For me they are certs to go up either top 2 or play-off winners.
Like QPR they kept a lot of last seasons players, but unlike us, they had a proper manager to guide them.

Looks like Bamford and Washington are the two strikers Jimmy wants. Would have preferred Gayle and Bamford but I guess we've been priced out of a move for Gayle.

Bit disappointed not getting Gayle but definitely two exciting additions.
