Played for Rotherham yesterday and he did apparently outplay Konchesky in the first half. He is a Tottenham loanee. Worth a punt if Phillips goes?

By far the worst Konchesky has looked this season in the first half, I think he has been ok for us generally. Haven't seen enough of the lad at Rotherham to tell if he was that good or Paul had an off day.

Going on one performance against us we would have bought Carlton Palmer and played him as a striker after his hat-trick

They say that's the sign of a good side eh. Play bad and still hammer the opposition.

I said at half time we'd win. It was crucial we didn't go behind in the first half after getting battered, especially the first 20 minutes. If they scored first half we'd have lost that game but a huge save from Smithies and great tackle by the chief kept us in it and you could see the confidence build when we scored and it just drained from Rotherham.

Big win but we've got to build on it against Wolves. I'd fancy us to break our unwanted record at Forest if we beat Wolves. We then have 5 of the next 8 games at home with 2 of the away games at Bolton and MK Dons.

I'm not saying we'll make the playoffs as I don't think we will but if ever there was a chance to make a charge then it's now as we've potentially got a great run of fixtures.
