F ack off Les you total, utter w anker. Pleased for Charlie, but the shitty club doesn't need £4m and they could try to entertain us fans for the rest of the season by playing the only decent player we have. S hit up front without him all season. Continuing today.
Wish we had a central midfielder who could chip in with two goals in two consecutive winning games like Joey Barton. Oh. Wait.... Les is a utter, utter w anker.
Your blood pressure must be through the roof. Doctor prescribes less QPR
fair enough, i kind of knew that charlie wasn't injured and being saved for a potential sale. i am gutted but we have to move on now, maybe the strikers we have ie JET and polter will feel a bit more secure and want to start playing properly.
Problem is, JET is playing properly, just having off-field problems. In the few games he's had this season, I think he's shown himself to be the best striker at the club. Polter seems to play badly every game (bar the last one, credit where it's due) but still manages to find the net. I think those two up front together could be clinical.
Anyone else see this quote from JFH talking about today's match? Would suggest that maybe he thought Charlie was staying put:
“We want to make sure that he is ready. I haven’t made my mind up on whether he’ll feature yet. But we can’t afford to lose Charlie for another six weeks. We need to make sure he is ready."
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.
