Would love him to break in side and do the business but he offers absolutely nothing other then an engine in middle of the park. He's as bad as any of our midfielder but as he's kind of homegrown people are making exceptions and saying he's decent.
If he came from Huddersfield was called Gobern and played the way he did at Forest last week he would be called S hit and get rid but he's regarded as one of our own so people make allowances.
Those saying we should be pushing for promotion but at the same time saying Doherty is the answer better prepare themselves for a long wait in the championship

He has shown in short spells that he's tenacious, can pass and tackle and yes he has an engine.
Lets not forget age is on his side and offers a LOT more than ceratin 'stars' on money I'd presume was in excess of £30,000 a week.
