just when you thought things couldn't get anymore depressing and then you read about this. Sadly, there are half a dozen players who want out badly. Jimmy has inherited this, not caused itI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Jet hardly got any stick at all and his performance was frankly 'lacklustre' at best. And if and player bottles out of a challenge on the byline when he's 80/20 to get the ball and just lets the defender hoof it away then he basically deserves the kitchen sink thrown at him.
For the record Mackie was naff yesterday as well, but as usual his effort couldn't be questioned. That's why one gets applause for giving all and the other doesn't.

This club's a little bit broken really isn't it? Consultants being brought in to 'help' the manager. Mangers being sacked because they weren't going to get promoted in a season where 'consolidation' was the aim. A novice manager being dropped in to a cauldron of blood to try and paper over the cracks.
It's a bit like the bird we've all been seeing for a long time had slowly and surely gone absolutely mental. And now we can't go to the pub for fear of all our clothes being burned in a heap in the front garden.
I'll tell you why we boo our own players. It's because frustration has over boiled with a lot of our fans. It's not one thing. It's not two things. It's not JET, JFH, Polter. Not Warnock. Nor Sir Les. It's all of these things combined which are turning (or maybe have turned?) our club into a farce. There is no consistent message from top to bottom of this club, there are just lots of isolated decisions that individuals believe are for the best.
We say we want committed players not here for the money. We sign Leroy Fer. We say we want young hungry players. We leave Luongo on bench for Karl Henry. We say we are building a new training ground, we don't have one and haven't started building one 4 years later. We say we're moving grounds, there is no hope whatsoever of moving grounds.
This isn't a result of poor tactics or us having bad fans (the fans haven't changed). This is because the whole club is being run appaulingly from top to bottom with no consistency, discipline or professionalism. All we're doing now is making different mistakes.

Seriously, where do we start? Like it or not we need the money provided by our hopefully well intentioned owners who, if they suddenly ditch us, would potentially leave us up the creek and paddle less. Could Lee Hoos emerge as our saviour I wonder?

i went up to hull city last season the game that barton got sent off in , it was approx a 10 hour round trip . we lost green stood 20 yards from his own fans and gave a weak clap , every other player couldn't be bothered to even look our way and walked off . if mackie had been at the club he'd have come over and clapped us . its these small things that show the fans that the players care . i've stayed in hotels up north where the players have also stayed i've met players that cant even give the kids the time of day . fans can say what they want about rowan vine but he always had time for a chat with the kids. he spent 10 minutes once before the kick off at southampton talking to them . it's a two way thing if we see the players giving it their all then the fans will respond

Just as embarrasing as reading most posts from the usual suspects on this board, ATM. I can see a connection here. Not sure Such large extent of booing Our own players would happen at clubs situated north in your country.
Ps. We are now going through a period of transition.Last edited by Shania; 10-01-2016, 01:18 PM.QPR
