Hahahah catching up with this thread is comedy gold. So many toys out of prams
Christ, he is a decent League 2 player, no more. If we had one and bought Harriman now without the sentimental attachment of him being a youth product, the same people getting their knickers in a twist about this would be complaining about us being League 2 quality players. #ShoppingAtPrimark
not 1 single championship or league 1 side went in for him when he was available on loan, i guess they were all wrong
clearly was never going to cut the mustard. cant keep loaning the lad out forever, good business by the club.
i wondered how long it would take for Ramsey to get the blame
like someone else said, similar reaction to when hitchcock left.......where is he now?
You don't know who was in for him and that's a fact. He had a good relationship with Ainsworth and has chosen to continue to develop his football there and hopefully be playing league 1 football next year.
As said up the thread many footballers who get overlooked choose to take a step back to go forwards and go and play for a team they know they will get the platform to perform to further there careers.
23 is still young and still alot of maturity to happen. His best footballing years are ahead of him.
maybe harriman wouldn't have made it however in my opinion the time to have actually given him a chance would have been after the couple of times he made the first team,he had a good game at Liverpool and was the other game wigan.I have seen a reasonable amount of youth and 21s and the club were right to move players like ehmer balanta brown and quite a few more on however I feel harriman being allowed to go is a mistake.only time will tell.starting to worry about doughty as he had a decent game at Huddersfield and hasn't been seen since.

The boy deserved a chance.
Based on what. why did he deserve a chance. Countless managers have not deemed him good enough, so please explain to me why you know more than all these managers we have had who never played him.

He's not good enough for us mate and where we're looking to go - I've seen him many a time now for Wycombe. If he was, the footballing powers at Rangers, would not of let him go.

No offence mate but thats your opinion. Few of my mates who still play think its a coup for wycombe. Some of these lads had to go down the same route and drop a level or two because they were overlooked. Now all are playing league 1, championship and prem football. Two dropped down to the conference at 21 now plays in the prem. I bet there were loads like you given it he aint good enough.
He deserved a chance beacuase when he did play he held his own. He then went out on loan and established himself as a compotent rb. We should of chucked him in and given him a couple games. Especially considering our rb situation.

With respect, for every 1 that does that, there's another 75 that never go on to play league football again.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Nah sorry Maids, its been glaringly obvious for a while he isn't good enough.. His 23 now, if he was he would of been integrated into the first team or on loan at a higher placed league club. As I've said, I've seen him play a lot of times for Wycombe, due to my mate following them now and again and he is no where near good enough for the Championship.. not technically gifted enough, nor strong enough. Works hard and battles well, which is why League 2 has been his level. He plays in a team with Marcus Bean for christ sake! haha
If we've really missed out on him and he deserved a chance, how come no one else has come in for him? Even a League 1 club for example. Its glaringly obvious he is not good enough for Rangers. You'll see tomorrow anyway, if you watch the match

I got 6 or 7 mates thats happened to. Not all big time charlies in the prem but now all playing pro football. A lot in the championship too.
It happens more often than you think.
These arent the charlie Austin story of coming up through all the leagues but played for clubs like us, get overlooked and end up coming back to this level or higher.
Harriman is good league 1 player imo and has the potential to go to the championship. I can agree he might not be there yet but we will never know as we didnt give him a chance.
We've let others go plenty of other go and I havent been bothered becaise they have been pants. I perosnally just feel this lad wasn't given a fair go and will go on to play a higher level than he is now..

Are these the same Managers that kept putting Henry's name on our first team sheet? Just shows how great our Managers were during this time!
