Find this all very stupid and again makes the club look stupid !!.
Green has had some terrible abuse on this site and some people even make that person rather than just talk about his football ability. This seems very common now on football forums and I find it shocking how people write stuff about people they do not know.... maybe only basis is that person earns more money than they can even dream of ?
However back to football business, Green for me has been one of the better players over the last few years and I certainly feel he has not come across as causing trouble. Looking at his career history he seems he has a level and it is mid prem down to top of the championships. His foot work isn't great and he makes the occasional error but at the same time he pulls off some fantastic saves.
As for his contract! Well our much abused owners who seem to be guilty of wasting lots of their own money(not sure why this is a problem) and then writing off the club debts have offered a much wanted at the time goalie a deal which if he was picked regularly and played lots of games he would be REWARDED an extension. Now no point getting upset if that promise of reward for good service (he does not force us to pick him week in week out) is now taken up.
So for me...fair play to Rob Green. One of the good guys at QPR IMO.

This deal just makes it all the more stupid that we didn't bench him weeks ago. Might have made sense keeping him on for the second half of the season as backup if we could get 10+ games out of him without it costing us £5m (his annual salary). Now, with just 5 games to play with, it's not worth it. Odd that it'll take a contract spat to finally get him dropped.

Ie green and Fer seem to be able to play regularly even though they are out of form.
