Oh, and within a month or two we will be treated to the same expert analysis about the ability of whomsoever is fortunate enough to be our number 1.

To say Green hardly ever comes for a cross was patently wrong which is why I had to correct the false statement made. No doubt knocker undertakes a regular expert analysis of how often each professional keeper comes for crosses and Green comes bottom of the pile. Yes, kicking is by far his biggest failing and sadly, that is partly down to age - when he first started in his chosen discipline as a youth player, the back pass rule did not exist. You would however have expected him to work on this into his pro career and, for that failing, Green can be openly criticised#standuptocancer

In fact, he was out of position and heading towards his own goal, not a position you want a defender to be in when looking to clear a cross such as that one. Any goalkeeper would see that as a ball to go for in those circumstances because a retreating defender cannot have full control over what will happen if he intercepts the cross heading towards his own goal. The fact they naused it up between them is apparently all Green's fault, despite the fact any goalkeeper will tell you they are correct to try and take control of that situation. It's just the non goalkeeper, goalkeeping experts (and perennial Green haters) that can justify blaming him 100% for that situationQPR

a striker can miss a couple of sitters and it's soon forgotten , a keeper can keep a clean sheet for 89 mins then let in a howler and its his fault the team loses . . being a goalie is a thankless task . one of my boys plays in goal at a decent standard and i hate watching him for these reasons , green always feels me with dread when the ball is passed back to him , his distribution is poor and he doesn't get the ball out quickly enough allowing the oppo to get their shape . at his age and him making regular howlers it's time for him to go

Chaps he is dog t urd so stop defending. These great saves he makes are they saves any other keeper on 50k would not make. He's paid to make saves that's his job he's not paid to make error after error and Rob sorry I mean 3London if you think he's only contributed to 3 or4 goals I would have to dispute that. If I had player I would go through them out of interest.
Take the the QPR glasses of and pretend he never played for us if I walked up to any fan and said describe rob green most would say he's the keeper who makes loads of gaffs that lead to goals that is what his reputation is in the game. He done it at Norwich he done it at West Ham he done it on the biggest stage of all with England and he's done it repeatedly for four seasons with us
I don't deny he pulls of very very decent saves but that's his job unfortunately the few things he does well he follows up with a howler that's Rob Green I'm afraid from sublime to appalling in the space of an attack
We can do better then him for what we're paying so again I say he is T URD
