Good goal - but his overall game is pants.

It's like someone's tied his shoelaces together - then spun him around a few times.

Said the same thing to my old man whilst we were watching the game. Who scouted this guy (if anyone)? More worrying is that when we signed him we thought Austin was leaving. How did they ever think that Polter would be good enough to replace Austin? We paid over a million quid for him as well didn't we? Surely there were better shouts than him kicking around free transfers or available on loan?

this, good goal but he is bloody horrific

Sorry guys but 2 in 2 works hard and but for a couple of blocks in the first half could of had three.

Old fashioned but what we need at the moment right attitude compared to Fers disgraceful

Mate, the couple of blocks in the first half you're talking about was embarrassing at this level of football. 99% of Sunday league strikers would have at least got a shot on target in the same situation. Cracking header and yes, he works very hard but he really isn't anywhere near good enough to be at a top half Championship side, certainly not in the starting line up anyway.

usually an optimist, but Polter is proper sh1t though.
even my Hull mates who met up with me after the game said within 1 second: "Mate, who was that 33 you had up front? He is a complete waste of space!"

no player that tries though deserves the fans berating him and literally yelling at him "you are sht". that will solve nothing.

for me, we need to play JET. and if he is properly injured, surely Grego Cox cannot be worse than Polter. That c0ck up early in the game still haunting me right now.

some good defensive headers today , poor touch and static . then runs to close down a player and stops and stands sideways ,,,, please sort out that stupid barnet

He was shyte all game and didn't know how to hold up the ball, pass or shoot.....then the bloke showed it all leading up to the goal
Got the ball, great ball to Phillips to run on to, brilliant header. Shows he is capable of being a decent striker just needs to start doing more of it!

Honestly, think he just needs the ball to come to him in the right positions. That pass was fantastic in the build up to the goal and the position there is clearly something he likes to be in. Feed him passes and he will wall pass back to you and open up a chance. Limit his time on the ball and make it all about his positioning and we could have a solid goalscorer.

Only a hero because of Wembley. Prior to that he'd be slaughtered for two years. Let's not forget. Plus, if you want me to be honest, I'd have BZ all day long over the German. Brings a heck of a lot more to a team with his physical presence than Polter who offers literally nothing. The Hull defenders will be embarrassed they let him score last night.
