It may not have looked pretty but that wasn't the priority at the time. He instilled confidence and belief back in the side and managed to restore Hoilett's mojo after so many years in such a short space of time.
Warnock's experience and self-belief clearly made a huge difference; and it appears all that good work looks to have come undone again under JFH. Sad I know, but that is honestly how it appears and I just hope he has what it takes to get this team playing for him.
I guarantee you we'd have a lot more points on the board if NW had stayed on. And all this nonsense about him not wanting the job was a big smoke-screen. You only had to look at his post-match interviews to see he'd have loved to carry on. There was a lot more going on behind the official spiel and spin that fans weren't aware of.
