I like Neil and he would have been my choice but at least call it as it was instead of making stuff up
May as well repeat this from earlier in the thread:

In the short time NW was in charge we kept clean sheets, it was clear we had a game plan, we were solid, organised and hard to beat. Most importantly he sorted the defence out and built from there.

It may not have looked pretty but that wasn't the priority at the time. He instilled confidence and belief back in the side and managed to restore Hoilett's mojo after so many years in such a short space of time.

Warnock's experience and self-belief clearly made a huge difference; and it appears all that good work looks to have come undone again under JFH. Sad I know, but that is honestly how it appears and I just hope he has what it takes to get this team playing for him.

I guarantee you we'd have a lot more points on the board if NW had stayed on. And all this nonsense about him not wanting the job was a big smoke-screen. You only had to look at his post-match interviews to see he'd have loved to carry on. There was a lot more going on behind the official spiel and spin that fans weren't aware of.

Yes, but none of that matters when the Reading goalie throws the ball in the net!! In the same way that no amount of tactical genius will legislate for green being a complete bell and punching hall when he had it all under control!!

          Zackly.

Just because it's in a newspaper or on a website don't mean its true. NW probably knew he was surplus to the requirements of our deeply flawed regime, and spun it accordingly in the media.

But he transformation of the team from the one under warnock to now is just unreal. Under warnock we looked motivated and up for it and had me thinking just maybe we might flirt with the play offs.

Now under jfh we look lethargic, un interested and just awful and could now potentially flirt with relation of we keep playing like this.

Why should jfh be free from critism with such a dire turn of performances.

Absolutely shocking and to me very early doors but looks like a very poor appointmeant. Jfh looks just as out of his depth as ramsey did. He's proving it with some of his tactical decisions.

Should of gone down a warnock or Pearson route!!
How many games did it take from Pearson to get Leicester winning and successful?

Thing is mate, some clowns on here think JFH should've walked straight into the job (the biggest of his career) and turned us around overnight.

I don't think he should have been invited in in the first place. Then again, we limited ourselves as serious candidates would not have wanted to be answerable to Les. I had no expectations but I'm still amazed at how awful we've been.

Fine. The fact is, he still needs time. Unfortuantely, that seems to be the one thing a lot of fans aren't preapred to give him.

Agree with you 100% Stan but point remains Reading win was not due to a tactical genius it was because of a fumble by the keeper not that I'm complaining

How in the blue hell can any manager galvanise a squad in 6 bloody games? JFH hasn't had one single opportunity to bring in his own players or build his own squad yet, and no manager can do that in January. He needs 2 transfer windows.
And before you say Warnock did, thats bowlarks, because we were just as sh!t in those 4 games as we were under Ramsey. Beat a dreadful Leeds side and were very lucky to scrape past a shocking Reading side who were just about to sack their manager, becuase their keeper gifted us a goal.

                            • JFH is still trying to know the players. That's why its important that on Saturday he plays those players that so far did not feature much. Then he will know exactly where he needs to strengthen and who must leave. Lets be fair, six games are not enough and just remember that we should have won against Burnley, Brighton, Bristol and Ipswich at least..... and should have drawn against Hull! However, luck seems to desert us when we needed it most. Lets calm down and support JFH and the team. Panic makes the situation worse.

There were complaints about how boring the games were with Warnock but some forget as it's counterproductive to their argument. The two wins a draw and a defeat could just as easily been four bore draws

If I'm honest all three managers have bored me so far this season lets not forget Warnock liked playing without a striker but it's ok cause it's Warnock

JFH might be a complete disaster but after six games it's far too soon to judge.

I thought clement was s hit first phase of season and was out his depth look at Derby now
