FFP is pointless anyway.
Derby and Boro in particular have built a squad this season that will get promoted this season or next.
If they go up, they pay the fine. If they don't, they'll be under an embargo but already have a strong squad capable of gaining promotion and won't need to improve it anyway.
It's an absolute farce and I don't see the point in it's existence. Bournemouth would have found it hugely difficult to continue their great season last year if they stuck by the FFP laws. What chance do smaller teams have of promotion now on 10k capacity stadiums?
Owners should be able to spend what they want but a law needs to be brought in to protect the club. How they do that I don't know but limiting what a club can spend based on income will just make the gap between the big and small, larger. Owners blatantly ignore FFP anyway, so what's the point?Comment
