Ok, clubs can wait till the summer and get him for nothing but there's clubs that wouldn't stand a chance of a bigger club came in.
I think Leicester might come in again for him and pair him with Vardy, and also have a replacement for Vardy when he does the off this summer!!

those baulking at Charlies asking price, look at what Newcastle have paid for Shelvey. At £12m, Charlie is a bargainI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Charlie ain't going anywhere unless someone pays stupid money, which they won't. Charlie has already said he's not going to a club unless they're established in the Premier League, therefore they're not desperate and won't be financially stupid.
This is Charlie's big move, he'll demand a big signing on fee, in the region of £4m as there will be no transfer to pay for the club and he'll be looking for a 4 year deal on at least £40k a week. He's had this lined up from the summer hence him saying he's going nowhere as it suits him financially in the summer when he'll an endless list to choose from.
You're basically asking a club to pay an extra £13m to sign him now instead of in the summer. £8m for the transfer, £4m signing on fee and an extra 6 months wages. Even if we be more realistic and drop the transfer fee to £6m and signing on fee to £2m then it's still an extra £9m outlay for what, 17 games?
Charlie refusing to move to anyone but an established club and the money involved simply means he ain't going anywhere.

Surely going out on loan would be better for him and we could do we a decent winger with decent creativity.

Daily mail say jfh hoping to convince bamford to come to us from his scum connections.
Apparently been told to train with u21s and not in contention at all under hidink.
If we could bring someone like him in and either keep Charlie or buy another striker like Washington or gayle that would be brilliant.
