  • Concern over Politics going on behind the scenes

Amit Bhatia's dad appears to have fallen out big time with Tony Fernandes and the air line appears to be in great degree of turmoil currently.

I don't know what ramifications if any this will have for QPR but director relations and funding is of concern at present I hope the board can keep there financial support and maintain a united front.

"AMMO FOR SWAMY" ... cringe. Seriously though, can't see this squabble making things any worse for QPR than they already are. If anything, it might actually result in something positive: a further motivation to find new buyers for the club.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Lost £65m over the 3 months from July to September (i.e. holiday season), with the share price in the crapper. Amazing that some on here are still convinced that they are going to keep wiping our debt off.

They only did it to make QPR a (slightly more) attractive buy. Damage limitation, pure and simple.

Forgot to mention that that was the 8th straight net loss they have posted in a row - Air Asia hasn't been a profitable business for the better part of 2 years. Appears to be only a matter of time before they sell up. I would imagine it's promotion or bust in TF's mind now. Probably the latter.

For someone like him, it might even be both.

So you think new buyers would be as inept or even worse?

Usual suspects realise that what goes on behind the scenes is just as (if not more) important than what goes on on the pitch; if you want to spin it as the likes of me and Kirill thinkng this is good news, be my guest. I take absolutely no pleasure from QPR being owned by a Board losing money hand over fist and fighting amongst themselves.

                          Look to Leeds and Blackburn.

Not into the whole TF bashing but this line sounds pretty familiar I'll be honest...

losses were due to poor management and costly third-party agreements

I think 'fighting amongst themselves' is a complete exaggeration. This is just business and Amit Bhatia's dad is simply posturing as he tries to get the best return from his investment in Air Asia India. If you want to extrapolate that into some kind of soap opera where it's all gone Westenders at QPR, that's fine, as long as you accept that's purely dramatisation.

In regard to Air Asia's problems, I'm sure a large part of that must be due to the crash. Whether they are endemic I'm not sure. Of course it's an issue for QPR, but just how much is hard to say. I'd say it was too early to be beating the doom and gloom drum. One thing I would love to see is Amit persuading his father-in-law to take over TF's shares and becoming chairman himself.
