Hello everyone, I've been lurking this forum for a few years now, forgot my password ages ago and never bothered to try and reset it until now!

I posted about this on Reddit and figured you guys would be interested in seeing some of the responses from fan's of other teams.

All 4 options are pretty uninspiring to be honest; they look virtually the same to me. This was a chance for the club to create a crest that represents QPR by more than just it's initials but it seems like they decided to take the nostalgia route to appease older fans. Maybe its because I'm a fairly new fan of the club; I started following QPR (and football) around the time the crest was last changed; so I don't have that nostalgia factor going for me with the past crests. Our current one definitely isn't great, but I would much rather keep it for now than settle for the options the club has offered.

The last 2 designs (Option 3 & 4) were designed by fans, and I was hoping to see more fan designs in the running. I forget exactly which QPR message board I first saw this design on, but I absolutely love it! I'll have to dig up my Twitter password but I'll definitely be tweeting this to Tony! I hope you and everyone else who likes this badge will as well. I don't think it's too late for them to add this into consideration; or at the very least postpone selecting a badge until they've come up with better/more varied options.

With the best will in the world, I'd say it was too late.

I must admit, I do like that one. I just think the hoops in the middle is missing something, like a QPR written on it.

I don't like any of them that much - the 70s one has the typography all over the shop, the 80s one is boring and the most recent are just trashy. The one being suggested above is bland. The 56 one has a bit of class.

Talking of class AC and Barcelona refer to their cultural origins in their badge, our real name is Queen's Park Rangers and the link with HMQ should surely give us a start point. The place you go to sort this is the College of Arms, but I doubt if PR / Marketing have the class to have figured that out.....

A skull and crossbones would have been appropriate during the Flavour Flav period.....

the hoops inside the crest clashes too much with a hooped shirt. I for 1 agree.
and they kept the choices low (to 4) so the vote wouldn't get out of hand.

(optimists would read between the lines of what Hoos said and assume this means we will finally get full hoops next season. but luckily we don't have anyone who would fit the bill of optimist or "loves the club" on watrb )
